Meet Pauline

Pauline Armour is the creative force behind Design Hub 2478, bringing two decades of design experience from Sydney, London, and South Africa to the Northern Rivers. For the past 15 years, she’s run her design studio in Ballina, working directly with local businesses and community organisations in a way that’s both professional and deeply personal.

What She Does

Pauline handles everything from initial strategy to final execution—brand development, client relationships, and hands-on design work. She works across print and digital, creating brand identities, WordPress websites, email campaigns, marketing materials, and everything in between. Her toolkit includes Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, social media management, and Google Analytics, but her real strength is understanding what small businesses need and delivering it without the agency BS.

Community Connection

Beyond client work, Pauline is the publisher of THE BOOK REVIEW, a travel guide showcasing the best places to EAT.DRINK.SHOP.EXPERIENCE across the Northern Rivers. It’s her way of championing local businesses and sharing what makes this region special.

When She’s Not Designing

You’ll find Pauline adventuring in her teardrop camper, braving ice baths, riding horses or geeking out over great design.
